Terms of Use

In short: Car TV has no built-in content. Only add sources you have the right to watch, and never watch video while driving.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Car TV app for iPhone and CarPlay ("Car TV", "the app"), published by Vandana Merja ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Apple's standard license

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA takes precedence.

2. No content is included

Car TV contains no channels, playlists or videos, and we don't run or endorse any streaming service. Whatever you watch comes from sources you add yourself, such as playlist links, pasted playlists or videos you import from your device. We have no control over that material and don't review it.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Only add and play content you are legally allowed to access. You are solely responsible for the sources you add and how you use them.
  • Don't use the app to infringe copyright or other rights, or to break any law.
  • Don't reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, except where the law allows it.

4. Safe use in vehicles

Never watch video, or operate Car TV, while you are driving. By using the app you agree that:

  • you will only watch video when the vehicle is stopped in a safe, legal place and in Park, or as a passenger where local law allows it;
  • you will set up sources and choose content before the vehicle moves, and won't handle your iPhone while driving;
  • you will obey all traffic laws, including any law that bans video being visible to the driver;
  • you won't run the vehicle's engine in an enclosed space while using the app.

You use the app in a vehicle entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for any accident, injury, fine or damage resulting from use of the app in or around a vehicle.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. Car TV relies on Apple CarPlay, your vehicle, your network connection and third-party sources, so we can't guarantee that any particular stream, car or head unit will work.

6. Third-party services

Playlists, streams and websites you open through the app (such as Google Search or our WhatsApp community) are run by third parties and have their own terms. We aren't responsible for their availability, content or practices.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or any content you access through it.

9. Trademarks

Apple, iPhone, CarPlay and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names mentioned are the property of their respective owners. Car TV isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and if you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
